The group's efforts on Sunday were once again excellent. Everybody is now working on areas that need to strengthen and improve for correct development for the future. It is great to see the children focusing on the development of their speed. It is critical to all events. Alex got an excellent PB in the Discus of 28.37m, coming second, which is well deserved as he is now working on his technique all the time. Cara and Lauren competed in what are harder events for them, to build on technique, strength and stamina. Really great attitude ! William and Sophia, from our U9 group, are enjoying and progressing over so many events. For their age this is so impressive - Sophia and William won the U9 Long Jump competitions, both came 3rd in their respective 600m races and Sophia ran an excellent 75m sprint to come second.
Congratulations to all the children who are demonstrating such great commitment and attitude to their multi-eventing development. The full results are attached below.
