Sportshall three match events

A small group of Stockport Harriers have been competing indoors at Sportcity, over a number of different events, in three Sportshall events recently.

There have been a number of top 10 achievements in running, jumping and throwing events from: Dominic, Harry, Lauren, and Sam.

Sam won the one lap running final in match 3, in the fastest time across all three matches in 11.2 seconds. An outstanding achievement considering it was his first ever athletics event and he is one of the youngest under-11s.

I think it is fair to say that all the children, that have taken part, have enjoyed and learnt from the experience of doing so.

It has offered our multi-eventing training group the opportunity to compete during the Winter months in events other than Cross Country.
